Gappell's museum-quality works focus on Greco-Roman myths, and her new book is a compilation of glossy color photos of her unique mosaic designs, plus a CD of select piano pieces played by Gappell herself and intended to reflect her works.

 The Desert Sun December 8 Beverly Hills-based glass artist Millicent Gappell will be in town for a book signing for her latest art book, "The Art of Myths and Music."
The book signing is scheduled for 8:30 a.m. to 10 a.m. Sunday at Espresso Cielo, 245 S. Palm Canyon Drive.
