In a new court filing, Fotis Dulos' attorney, Norm Pattis, claims that missing mother-of-five Jennifer Farber Dulos received medical attention in early July of this year, several weeks after her May 24 disappearance.

Pattis, who was denied an earlier request for Jennifer Dulos' medical records, renewed that request on Friday due to the new information.

"Since the previous ruling, the defendant has come into possession of a billing record for Jennifer Dulos indicating that on July 7, 2019 a medical provider reported Ms. Dulos received 'reproductive' services," Pattis writes in the Oct. 11 court motion, first obtained by News 12 Connecticut reporter Marissa Alter. "That provider apparently sent a bill to Anthem Blue Cross and Blue Shield on August 16, 2019. The undersigned has a copy of a 'Claims Detail' indicating a claim number. The bill reflects a balance due to the insurer."

Fotis and Jennifer Dulos were in the midst of a bitter divorce and child custody battle at the time of her disappearance, and Pattis claims in the filing that the disappearance was "orchestrated" by her and/or her family. The divorce and custody proceeding "was not breaking Ms. Dulos' way," Pattis claims, which led to the hoax disappearance.

Jennifer Dulos was reported missing on May 24 and has not been seen since. A week later, Fotis Dulos and his ex-girlfriend Michelle Troconis were arrested on charges of tampering with evidence and hindering a prosecution.

Blood evidence was found by police at Jennifer Dulos' New Canaan home, and Fotis Dulos and Troconis are accused of discarding several items soon after the disappearance that tested positive for Jennifer Dulos' blood.

"The medical billing information represents what may be a crack in an artifice of deceit, and is material to the defense of Mr. Dulos," Pattis writes. "The defendant contends that evaluation of these records is necessary to prepare a defense, and claims the right to review them under the Sixth Amendment to the United States Constitution."

Fotis Dulos is due back in Stamford Superior Court in the criminal case on Nov. 6, while Troconis due back in court on Oct. 25.
